In New Clark City, the BCDA envisions to source at least 30% of power supply from renewable energy sources and support the locators and residents in the city. It is consistent with the national government’s thrust to lessen dependence on coal as the main power source and increase our use of renewable energy sources such as solar.
The BCDA is looking for partners from renewable energy developers to lease a 37-hectare property within New Clark City and develop a solar farm with a capacity of at least 25 megawatts.
